Cool Techie Tips 1: Make Your Folders Invisible

I’m not really a techie-geeky type but I’m quite really amazed of what other can do to their PC’s.  Here are some of the real cool and amazing things you can with your PC. By the way, I didn’t discover it I just found it in Convergence Forums (one of my favorite hangout in the Net).  I narrow it down with less technical term, for techie moron like me.  Here’s the first part of the cool techie tips.

  1. Right Click on the desktop. Make a new folder. (or right click on an existing folder and click Rename)
  2. Now rename the folder with a space. You have to hold ALT key on your keyboard and type 0160.
  3. Now you have a folder without a name.
  4. Right click on the Folder
  5. Click Properties
  6. Click Customize tab.
  7. Click on Change icon button.
  8. Scroll a bit, you should find some empty spaces. Click on any one of them.
  9. Click ok

You have now an invisible folder.  To find the folder press CTRL + A.
