How to Insert YouTube Video Clip in PowerPoint

YouTube and other video-streaming sites offer so many that could enhance PowerPoint presentation. The trend of web videos that introduced by website like YouTube, PowerPoint users is fast embedding videos found in YouTube into their presentation.  If you want to embed your favorite video in YouTube to your PowerPoint presentation here are the steps to follow:

 

For Live Streaming PowerPoint Presentation:

1.      Download the YouTube Wizard plug-in from http://skp.mvps.org/ then install it in your computer.

2.      The plug-in will add a “Insert YouTube Video” command into your PowerPoint Toolbar.

3.      Provide the YouTube video URL that appears in the browser address bar, the YouTube Video Wizard will do rest of the steps for your presentation.

 

For Offline PowerPoint Presentation:

  1. Download the YouTube into your computer in either Windows Media or AVI format (or convert it into the same format stated above).
  2. Choose Insert.
  3. Click “Insert Menu”
  4. Choose “Movies and Sound”
  5. Click “Movie from file…” to insert the YouTube Video into the current slide.

Downloading YouTube videos maybe tricky to other people. There are tons of sites around that allow you to download youtube videos. My personal favorite is

http://youtubeoffline.com

Just copy and paste the YouTube link to download the video. Best of all, the video is downloaded im MP4 format. No need to convert from FLV!
