Speaking of Earring

Earrings are definitely one of the most essential jewelries for women, and even men.  The ensemble would not be complete without an earring gracing your adorable earlobes.  Earrings somehow add grace, elegance and sophistication to a woman’s face.  It brings a feminine aura that makes a face glows brightly. 

Way back from ancient times, earring is one of the most favorite jewelries of women, and it was even mentioned biblical book of Genesis.  Ancient Egypt excelled in making earring which was usually made of gold with set of gemstones.  Greeks made their earrings with gold or jeweled, and shaped it like studs or pendants while the Roman earrings were simple in form and decorated with precious stones.  Among the Native Americans noblemen wore gold ear ornaments and earplugs, often incorporating turquoise. Among many of the Asian peoples, earrings have been worn by both men and women.

And for those who are afraid to have their ear pierced or just simply don’t want pierced ears there are ‘clip-on’ earring available.  These earrings lightly clamp onto the bottom of your ear lobe, they are quite comfortable and there are many styles to choose from.  There are also magnetic earrings which are held in place by two magnetically attracted pieces, one positioned on the front side of your ear lobe, the other on the back.  The most comfortable non-pierced earrings are the screw type earrings.  It actually works like like clip-on’s but offer fine adjustment.
