The Plot of the Story:

“You’re asking a kid in boxing shorts to save the world?” That was line from a 16-year Charlie Landers when he was recruited by T. Abner Hall to become a “real” Aaron Stone.  Aaron Stone is an avatar of a heroic character in the popular online console game called Hero Rising and the character of Aaron Stone in the video game is being played by Charlie Landers.  Charlie as being Aaron Stone is legendary in the online video game. 

Charlie’s life was changed forever when Hero Rising video game creator billionaire T. Abner Hall recruits him to become the “real-life” Aaron Stone. As Aaron he must save the world & defeat the evil Omega Defiance.   Omega Defiance is composed of genetically engineered people lead by a man called Dr. Necros.  From then on, Charlie lives a double life of an ordinary teenager and a hero.  Being a true Aaron Stone Charlie wears a protective uniform with high-tech gadgets and equipments & X-5 sneakers just like the fictional Aaron Stone in the video game.   He also has been given access to a J960 supersonic jet named “The Black Arrow” which he uses as his main means of transportation for his missions around the world.

Together with Charlie is his best friend and next door neighbor Emma Lau, who is also an avid Hero Rising gamer.  With her knowledge that his pal Charlie and the hero Aaron Stone are one and the same, Emma work together with Charlie.  Emma becomes her online game avatar Dark Tamara.  Mr. Hall sends an android named S.T.A.N (Sentient Tactical Assisting Neo-human) to become Charlie’s assistant.  With Dark Tamara and android S.T.A.N, Aaron fights the evil Dr. Necros and his wicked organization The Omega defiance.

A Mumble of A Thankful Newbie

I wrote an article few weeks ago about my quest of learning how to play a poker game.  I am not really a gambler type of person I never learn any card game before except for the solitaire and freecell card games on computer.  Well, I am not really concern about being an ignorant about card games I never did have a good of it anyway until lately.

Get the right glass.  Each type of wine has an appropriate glass to serve with.  You can buy a different style of glass for just about every type of wine.  You have to remember that wide glasses are the best for red wine.  They give you the room for swirling to release the wine aroma.  The slender wine glasses are good for white wine, because they don’t need the extra space to breathe.

Let Red Wine Breathe.  It is advisable to let the wines to breather, but do it in the glass not in the bottle.  Uncorking a bottle and letting it sit exposes air to too little of the wine’s surface to make a difference.  Instead, pour the wine, swirl it around the glass to aerate it, then sniff, sip and enjoy.  As for decanting, save that for separating an older wine from sediment in the bottle.

Practice Proper Etiquette.  Instead of grabbing the bottle by the neck and tilting it into the glass, position its mouth just over the top of the glass and lift the bottle’s lower half to pour.  Have a napkin on hand to wipe off any spills and you’ll really impress your guest.  

Don’t Fill It Up.  Do not serve wine in a glass-full mode.  Leave some room in the glass for swirling to release the aroma.  Dip your nose into the glass (but don’t let nose touch the wine), to inhale the aroma of the wine.  A glass that’s too full will spill with a swirl and get your nose wet.
