Tips in Coping Everyday Anxiety

Global economic crises, pollution, recession, unemployment, traffic, deadline, etc and etc can really get unto our nerves.  These everyday dealings can really cause us stress and anxiety.  If anxiety is getting you, try coping with these strategies:

 

Take Action.  Determine what’s making you anxious and address it.  For instance, finances is making you anxious try to draw a budget plan to address the problem.

 

Let It Go.  Don’t dwell on past concerns.  Change what you can and let the rest take its course.

 

Take A Break.  Have some recreation that you could enjoy.  If you feel anxious try to unwind for a while by playing play basketball or by watching Aaron Stone episodes online or anything that could make your mind relax. 

 

Take Care Of Yourself.  Get enough rest, eat balance diet, exercise and take time to relax. Try to avoid caffeine and nicotine, these substances can worsen anxiety.  Never turn to drugs or alcohol it will just bury you more deeply in anxiety.  

 

Talk To Someone.  Share your problems to your family or your friends.  Talking to a counselor can give you also a fresh perspective.  Burden, especially the emotional one, can really be taxing to your peace of mind.  Unload those burdens by talking to people whom you trust.
