Is Microgaming Fair?

June 23, 2009

On my previous post I discuss about the tips on how to play online safely.  Online gambling actually spawned from what we called the microgaming casinos.  These microgaming casinos utilize the microgaming software, which is used to help the gamers and the game promoters for better online gaming.  The first genuine online casino software was released by the Microgaming Software Systems Ltd.

Most of the standard online casinos are operated by Microgaming Software.  At there posting time there are more or less three hundred games that could be played in online gaming dens that uses microgaming software. It includes slots, video poker, blackjack, roulette and many others.

Considering the fact that Microgaming Systems is one of the biggest and the leading software provider on the Internet, one of the questions that arise is that if their game is fair since it is software driven.  As I mentioned in my previous, as a gamer, it is your obligation to know whether the site you are accessing is legitimate or just a scam.  It is your prerogative and duty to be vigilant and careful in playing online games.

Microgaming casinos might be fair or not fair.  Who could tell? It is you in first place who should be are the one who is vigilant and careful enough to identify the fake from genuine.  Use your sense.

How To Cruise Without Sinking Your Budget

It is summertime once again, and the best way to spend summer is to hop on a ship for a cruise.  Cruising may sound expensive, but it is actually affordable if you know what to do.  Here are five tips on how to have the perfect vacation at the sea without sinking your budget.

  1. Go for the package deal.  In traveling the “more the merrier” principle is advised.  When you travel in group you would more likely to avail big discounts when buy for a package trips.  But make sure to stick with large and reputable travel packagers to avoid being scammed.
  2. Talk to a travel agent.  Most of the travels websites are now have cruise deals, if your are not familiar with cruising it would help a lot to talk to an agent.  Travel specialist can help you find the right deal and may even help you steer clear with bum deals.
  3. Look for discount coupons codes.  There are many travel website that have offers discounts.  Most businesses, even online, have a “Coupon” box on their checkout page where you can put in a code to get free/discounted shipping, dollars off, and/or percent off.  Some have discount codes which you could use for your next purchase or deals.
  4. Be a Savvy Web Shopper.  If you have specific itinerary and cabin in mind, try cruisecompete.com.  The site will send your cruise request to over 100 travel agencies, which would then send you a bid.  You may also want to surf travel sites such as Travelocity or Expedia.  Travelocity offers trips on about 11 cruise lines and Expedia can show you competing prices for about 20 cruise lines.  The lower price you could have the better, but always look out for “bum” deals.
  5. Count up the extras.  Cruises may offer cabin upgrades, discounts on spa services or reduced fare for kids.  Those deals can dry up fast, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
